This was another great week! 

Funny Sayings from Kids: There were a few good ones this week, but I don’t recall what they were.

Special Activities: We continued swimming for P.E. this week, and students absolutely love it.  It’s really helping them learn swimming basics, too.    

Academics: This week in math we learned how to measure using centimeters.  In writing, we learned how to add why to a sentence and keep it a complete sentence.  (i.e. He likes pizza because it is cheesy.)    Our reading and spelling focus was magic e.  (e at the end of a word makes a vowel say its name.  For example, t-a-k-e says “take” not “tack.”  In social studies, we’ve been learning about our court system as explained last week.  This week for science, we practiced and prepared for our “science magic show” that we will perform in May.
